This year I decided to make a video of my games of the year instead of writing it out. I mean, I still wrote it out beforehand but then I read it into a camera. I also added gameplay trailers of all the games discussed to make it a little more interesting than just me talking into a camera for 45 minutes.

Overall I’m really happy with how it turned out! It was the longest video I’d ever edited and took way longer than expected. By the end of it I hated listening to myself and definitely started thinking some of the delivery was stilted and felt like I was reading off a page (which I was). If I did it again I would either try to memorize the scripts better or just talk more off-the-cuff.
