In Advanced Level Design, our final assignment was to take a preset 3D Platformer controller and make an interesting level that used the established mechanics as well as introduced new ones. My main goal with the project was to practice God of War-style cinematic fixed camera angles, and finding ways to communicate the intended progression of the game to the player through camera angles. I added in the climbing mechanic to go up sheer cliffs, but wish I had had the time to implement an accompanying animation. I also played around a lot with fog, snow, an wind to create an interesting atmosphere to the level.
